Take the property back.
Blackberries, poison oak, tall grass, and fence lines swallowed by brush — cleared by hand and with professional cutting equipment, and hauled away.
Some properties don't need landscaping. They need reclaiming. Blackberry canes ten feet tall, poison oak through the fence line, grass you can't walk through, a back acre you haven't seen in years. That's the work I do — cutting it down, clearing it out, and leaving you with ground you can actually use and maintain.
What I clear
Blackberry thickets — canes cut and removed, root crowns grubbed where accessible
Poison oak — cleared carefully, by hand and with tools
Tall grass and weed overgrowth
Fence lines choked with brush and vines
Overgrown lots, side yards, and back acreage
Hillsides and rough ground equipment can't reach
Recurring vegetation control — seasonal or quarterly maintenance plans
Everything I cut leaves with me. I don't leave piles for you to deal with unless that's what you ask for.
Frequently asked questions
How do you handle poison oak?
Carefully, and with experience. I clear it by hand and with cutting tools, and I bag and remove the material. If you're highly sensitive, tell me — we'll talk through the approach before I start.
Do you spray herbicides?
No. I clear by cutting and removal — manual and mechanical work, not spray programs.
Can you keep it clear after the first cleanup?
Yes. Most clearings stay manageable with a seasonal or quarterly visit. I'll quote the maintenance plan separately so you can see exactly what it costs.
What does it cost?
Every property is different — size, density, slope, and access all matter. That's why estimates are free and on-site. I won't quote a clearing sight unseen.
Do you work in the rain / winter?
Winter is actually a good time for clearing work — vegetation is dormant, fire season pressure is off, and scheduling is easier.
